Vimy Hockey Student-Athletes Medal at Alberta Winter Games
Vimy Hockey would like to congratulate all of the student-athletes that participated at the Winter Games this past weekend. A special congratulations to the athletes from Donnan/Vimy Hockey who brought home medals from the event.
On the Female side, Zone 6 (Edmonton Region) took home the Bronze medal in a 5-1 victory over their Calgary counterparts from Zone 3. Vimy Hockey was all over the roster with Molly Sharp, Nicole Spinks, Celina Ensell and Mackenzie Hewett (Captain) all making solid contributions to the medal win.
For the boys, it was Zone 5 (Yellowhead Region) that took home the Gold! Matthew Robertson, Jaxsen Wyatt, Ethan Browne, Carter Chorney, Bruce MacGregor and Mitch Verenka all represented Vimy Hockey well in a 6-0 Victory over Zone 3 (Calgary).
Once again, the staff and student-athletes of Vimy Hockey would like to congratulate all of the athletes from Vimy that played at these games and were such great ambassadors for our program.
