Harrison Tougas is a Grade 8 student-athlete in the Vimy Outdoor Pursuits program. Harrison was this month’s featured athlete because of his outstanding leadership and participation. Regardless of the activity, Harrison always puts in his best effort and leads by example.
Harrison plays club soccer for Juventus X, and has had the opportunity to play in soccer tournaments across Canada as well as the United States. His favourite Soccer team is Arsenal F.C.
Some of the outdoor activities that Harrison enjoys include: soccer, football and outdoor fitness in the ravine. A major highlight for Harrison from the Outdoor Pursuits program has been the camp trips, with the three day canoe trip on the river being his favourite.
