Travis is a born and raised Edmontonian. He has a passion for sports and technology and was fortunate to be offered a position with AAD in 2009 so that he can focus daily on both of those passions while working at Donnan and Vimy.
Travis is the Program Director of Vimy Esports, Vimy’s newest program debuting in the 2022-2023 school year. Travis has always had a passion for gaming and is excited to bring that enthusiasm to competitive esports student-athletes.
Travis is also one of two Alberta representatives on the EDU National Council for Esport Canada, helping to shape the landscape of scholastic esports in Alberta and across all of Canada.
Beyond his Vimy Esports commitments, his role consists of designing and ordering student-athlete clothing, building/repairing/troubleshooting and working with anything attached to a computer including designing/developing and administering all of the AAD websites (including this one!) and social media accounts. He is also the support contact for the AAD online registration program and is part of the promotions and marketing team for AAD.
Travis has coached many sports including hockey, baseball, soccer and disc golf and has served as a board member for multiple local sport associations.
When he’s not at work, Travis is an avid disc golfer and enjoys reading, video games and spending time outside with his wife Stefanie and sons Lincoln and Griffin.
