Mr. Pukalo is a graduate of the University of Alberta, having earned a degree in both Physical Education and a degree in Secondary Education. Born and raised in Edmonton, Mr. Pukalo played hockey for the South Side Athletic Club as well as Rugby for the Strathcona Druids.
Mr. Pukalo joins Vimy Ridge Academy this year as Department Head of Physical Education and is excited to be working at Vimy in the hockey program where he can support young athletes to develop their skills and physical literacy on and off the ice.
When not at Vimy, Mr. Pukalo enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs. Other passions include being outside, snowboarding and hiking in the mountains or at the golf course trying to shoot a course record.
