Mrs. Chimera is a graduate of the University of Alberta, having earned a degree in Education with a Major in Physical Education and a Minor in French. She graduated from the University of Alberta in 2003 and has since then worked in both the Black Gold Regional School District and the Edmonton Public School District. She has taught both at the junior high and high school level for the last 16 years. This year at Vimy Ridge, she is teaching grade 7, 8, and 9 French as a Second Language, and is a teacher/instructor in the Sport Fit academy. Alongside teaching, Mrs. Chimera enjoys coaching various sports such as Volleyball, Basketball and Slo-Pitch. When not teaching, you can find her at the soccer field, baseball diamond or the hockey rink watching her son play these sports.
