Heather Osgood

Director

Vimy

Heather’s deep-rooted passion for health and wellness led her to earn a degree in Physical Education and Recreation from the University of Alberta, where she majored in Sport Performance. Her career has been built around developing strength & conditioning programs for athletes across a range of sports, with a particular focus on using sport to empower young women. Heather has worked extensively with the University of Alberta Women’s Hockey Team, NAIT Women’s Hockey Team, and Grant MacEwan Women’s Hockey Team. She also played a pivotal role in the U18 AAA St. Albert Slash’s historic three consecutive ESSO Cup National Championship victories.

Having spent a decade as the Strength and Conditioning Coach with Team Alberta’s U18 Female Hockey Program, where she helped secure multiple National Championship medals, Heather is now transitioning into a new role in Outdoor Pursuits. While this area is a new focus for her, she is excited to bring her wealth of experience in athlete development, leadership, and team-building to the program. Her background in high-performance sports provides a strong foundation for delivering an exceptional and holistic experience for student-athletes as they explore new physical challenges and outdoor adventures.
