Mr. Giroux is a graduate of the University of Regina where he obtained a Bachelor of Education with a major in Physical Education and a minor in Health. He is excited to join Vimy’s Outdoor Pursuits program as it will give him an opportunity to combine his love of sports and the outdoors. Mr. Giroux has enjoyed a 28-year teaching career where he has taught in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta. He has taught kindergarten to grade 12 with most of his assignments being in physical education and math. When not teaching, Mr. Giroux enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He enjoys playing hockey, golfing, skiing, biking, and hiking. Whenever he can get away it is usually to warmer climates. This year he is teaching Math 8, Science 7, 8, and 9 as well as grade 9 Outdoor Pursuits.
