Curt is also the co-founder of the bully prevention program “Shift the Power.” This program uses practical and functional self-defense techniques, including situational awareness, verbal/non-verbal messaging, and if necessary Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu self-defense techniques to increase students’ self-confidence and awareness. This results in a more compassionate and empathetic school culture.

Curt played NCAA hockey during his University career and has been in martial arts for over 23 years. He has helped numerous children develop a sense of identity and overcome bullying, successfully moving on with their lives.
