Vimy Golf is quickly becoming one of Edmonton’s premier golf training academies. Located in central Edmonton, Vimy Golf provides student-athletes in grades 7-12 with a seamless blend of high-end academics and elite sport training. Vimy Golf emphasizes a variety of themes and units to maximize on course development as well as complete athletic movement. Student-athletes will receive instruction on swing analysis and set up, course management and shot variety, mental focus and imagery, as well as golf specific fitness.
During Fall and Spring months, instruction and practice will take place in partnership with The Highlands Golf Club, The Quarry Golf Club and a few select City of Edmonton Golf courses. Students will bus to the course after lunch where a combination of range and on-course practice will take place. During winter months, instruction and practice will take place at The Golf Factory and the Vimy Ridge Golf Center. Both facilities are fitted with state of the art launch monitors and hitting stations, these spaces deliver data-driven insights that help athletes excel through the off-season.
Over the past five years, numerous Vimy Golf graduates have earned scholarships and are now competing at colleges across Alberta, British Columbia, and the NCAA.
