Vimy Lacrosse Add Gregorwich to Instructional Staff

Vimy Lacrosse is excited to welcome Mackenzie Gregorwich as Lacrosse Instructor. Gregorwich, a 2019 alumnus of Vimy Ridge Academy, will be responsible for day-to-day lacrosse coaching, working with student-athletes, and assisting them in identifying post-secondary academic and athletic opportunities.

Gregorwich has been a staple in the local lacrosse community since she started playing box lacrosse with the Sherwood Park Titans at age eight. From there, she continued on to play both Men’s Field and Women’s Field Lacrosse through Vimy Lacrosse and with the Razorbacks. In addition, she has been an active official since fourteen and an active coach within the Sherwood Park Titans organization for the past few years.

Vimy Lacrosse Program Director Dallas Smith stated, “Vimy Lacrosse is excited for what Mackenzie can bring to our program. She has shown to be an excellent role model for our younger athletes, while she was a grade twelve student and has shown a natural propensity to work as a coach, which she has demonstrated on multiple occasions in both the Box Lacrosse and Women’s Field sector.” In addition, Program Advisor Paul Rai stated “Gregorwich is a strong addition to our program, she brings a strong work-ethic and very caring personality.”

Vimy Lacrosse is excited for the direction our program is heading with this new hire! Mackenzie Gregorwich can be reach by email at mackenzie.gregorwich@partner.epsb.ca. Any additional questions can be directed to Program Director Dallas Smith by email at dallas.smith@partner.epsb.ca.
