Vimy Sport Fit Rugby Players Compete In Ireland
Three long time Vimy Sport Fit athletes recently spent 10 Day touring Ireland and playing Rugby against local club teams.
Marc West, Alex McCara and Rory Mills along with the rest of their Strathcona Druids visited three different cities in Ireland where they had the opportunity to compete and practice with several Irish clubs. The boys received training from Irish professional coaches and played against top club teams.
Along with playing rugby, the boys also experienced Irish culture and life first-hand, touring Dublin and a few different castles.
These young men are a great example of how Vimy Sport Fit student-athletes have the opportunity to excel at sports outside of their school curriculum.
