Vimy Lacrosse Student-Athletes Commit to University of Denver

Vimy Lacrosse is proud to announce that current student-athletes Griffin and Skyler Wilson have verbally committed to attend and play lacrosse at Denver University in the Fall of 2018. Griffin and Skyler are currently in Grade 9 at Vimy Ridge and have been attending the school since Grade 7. Both the boys have been excellent students in the classroom and leaders on the lacrosse field. They have demonstrated that working hard in the classroom and on the field can lead to great opportunities.

Paul Rai, the Vimy Lacrosse Director has worked with the Wilson twins for several years, coaching them within the Vimy Lacrosse Program and with the Warriors Lacrosse Club.

“Griffin and Skyler have been exemplary representatives of Vimy Lacrosse. They are great athletes, great lacrosse players and great students here at Vimy. They work hard and have dedicated themselves to improving their game. I have had the opportunity to coach them for four years and have watched them mature as lacrosse players. They know this is the first step for them and there is more work to do. I know they will embrace the challenge that awaits them. As the Vimy Lacrosse Director, I can truly say this is a great day for Griffin, Skyler and the entire Wilson family. I am thankful that Vimy Lacrosse had a part in their lacrosse development and am excited to continue to work with them as long as possible.”
