Vimy Hockey Training Centre Opens In Nov
The Vimy Hockey Training Centre, located on the Vimy stage behind the fitness centre, in what used to be the bag drop opens for full use in November.
Each Vimy Hockey Junior High group will have multiple sessions a month in the training centre and High School students will also have access to the facilities.
Sessions in the training centre will include:
- Puckhandling, passing and footwork training on the stage
- Shot power, accuracy and changing shot angles in the artificial ice, glassed-in shooting cage
- Skating power, agility and first-step work on the skating treadmill
