Tristan Rai returns to Vimy Lacrosse having been both a student and an instructor in the past. Tristan was involved in the lacrosse program as well as the hockey program during his time at Vimy. Tristan went on to play hockey and lacrosse at Westminster School, a preparatory school in Connecticut, before heading to Lehigh University on a lacrosse scholarship. At Lehigh, Tristan was a 4 year starter as an attackman and ended up 4th in school history in points. In 2019, Tristan was drafted into the National Lacrosse League by the New England Black Wolves. During the 2019-2020 season, Tristan played for New England before the COVID-19 pandemic caused the cancellation of the season. He has also played for the Australian National team in 2014 and in 2019. Tristan has an extensive coaching background in both box and field lacrosse, having coached Team Alberta and various club teams. He was also a volunteer assistant at Choate Rosemary Hall, an independent boarding and day school in Wallingford, CT, during the shortened 2019-2020 season.
