Ms. MacKinnon is a graduate of the University of Alberta where she completed Physical Education and Education degrees. She has been teaching with Edmonton Public Schools since 2005. Ms. MacKinnon is new to Vimy Ridge and is very passionate about wellness and active living and is excited to be a part of the Sport Fit team and CTF (Foods) program.
She grew up in an active family, skiing, skating, hiking, swimming and biking and was involved in a variety of activities and sports including track and field, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and fastball.
Away from school, she enjoys working out, being at the lake, walking her dog, and spending time with her family.
